Re: Log: Loki (Nish) and Aedan + Bartender
It was obvious given his blank-faced reaction to Aedan's response that Kratos had absolutely no idea about any of this about horses and fish. At first he thought the man was mocking him, it was obvious, and his brows got very low and thunderous indeed, but the expression eased into confusion as soon as he started naming names. And at one point... "Shapeshifter? He changes shapes?" The dark gaze transferred from the man to the woman, as if looking into her face might reveal hidden secrets.
Kratos was utterly unmoved by either the Norwegian or the unsubtle insult that followed. The language was similar to the one Faye spoke, and he got the gist of it, but did not respond to the insult with anything but a very slow blink, like a tortoise being bothered by a fly. He made a rumbling grunting noise that could have meant anything from insult to laughter. His arms were still crossed and he showed no sign of getting up to move away from the conversation. He saw this as an opportunity to learn more, as the man was obviously an expert on the subject.
Kratos didn't care if he was ruining the flirtatious. In fact, his not-caring was nearly sublime. To Aedan he said, "Why does he change?"
