Re: Log: Loki (Nish) and Aedan + Bartender
The message had been clearly received, even posed as it was in hypotheticals and maybes. Some people would have drilled down, but Aedan accepted it with a nod, a smile, and a slow sweep of his gaze over her. “A very attractive host indeed.” She was fit, and pretty, and she looked like she got as much sun as he avoided it.
“I think that’s a compliment, but I don’t know if I could ever call myself your equal. Still, thank you. I hope I live up to it,” he tipped his glass in cheers to her, and for the first time, mimed as if he was drinking from it. The liquid had barely touched his lips before he was setting it back down, tongue dipping out to collect the taste of it. It was good, yet it was muted as all things that were not blood were.
“It’d be good—“ he started to say when the mountain of the man behind the bar finally spoke.
“Except for when he was a mare and gave birth to Sleipnir. Or when he was a fish, a fly, and an old woman. He’s a shapeshifter. Is it too much to think that he might adopt the form of a younger woman?” He asked, casually engaging the other man.
