Re: Log: Loki (Nish) and Aedan + Bartender
By now the bartender had set down roots behind the bartop, massive arms crossed over his chest and eyes squinting forward under the dark brows. He wasn't looking directly at them but over their heads into the middle space. One could theoretically think he was watching the game, but his eyes didn't change focus; admittedly difficult to tell given that he had a lot of facial hair and a substantial natural glower, so making out the eyes required work or familiarity.
He had little to say on most of the conversation. He didn't understand any of the references nor care about the flirtation, but this discussion about the trickster was getting on his nerves. They repeated the name a few times and he abstained from an opinion, but it appeared they had reached a breaking point on that. He turned his head and the intent glower on the redhead. "You are not Loki."
The Greek accent had a rum time with the most consonants, and he didn't so much as roll the 'r' as growl it. The 't' was a lot farther forward in the mouth, but he pronounced the name itself not like a Greek, but closer to a Swede. The last vowel of the name was abbreviated, rather than the American extension of low-keee, it ended up as if the 'k' was cutting the whole thing off, loh-keh. "Loki is a man."
