Re: Log: Loki (Nish) and Aedan + Bartender
The concrete wall of a man was watched, acknowledged, and then his attention slid back to the woman. The bartender was not the interested sort, the one that would make idle conversation or perhaps he was simply socially adept enough to not bother interrupting the two of them. That might be refreshing. His head dipped with the arrival of the whiskey that he didn't immediately drink from, but simply rested the glass between his thumb and forefinger.
But to her he gave a smile and another tip of his head in thanks. "I'm sure you are capable of getting more than one, if you wished it. And woe to anyone that gives you less than you deserve."
From the smell, he could tell it was a good Irish whiskey, the notes clearer here than they would be on the tip of his tongue. A pity too, but he wouldn't change what he was for anything. That quirk of his lips remained as he watched her sip it -- it was a long time since he'd watched a woman drink a whiskey, and it was still one of the finer things that he enjoyed.
The question had him pausing, tongue catching between his canine's as he made a show out of considering the answer. "Blues rock." The question was ridiculous, but not entirely unexpected. "So, Loki. Is it a nickname or--?" The or was a distinct, if unclear possibility.
