Re: Log: Loki (Nish) and Aedan + Bartender
The low purr of his car was evident a few moments before Aedan entered the bar — directions courtesy of google maps as the Cat was not one of his usual haunts. The man that took the number of patrons in the bar from two to three had many opinions on whiskey — the most notable and recent of them was that he did nothing for him. Oh he could taste every nuance hid within the amber depths but none of them were as compelling as a liquid that ran from veins and not casks.
He glanced at both patrons, the man with a beer bottle dangling from his fingertips, focus on the TV as if spelled — it wasn’t him. That left the bartender with the pale skin — paler than even he was used to in his home country — and the woman. The bartender was nixed simply because he was working, which left the woman with the slightly accelerated heartbeat. He grinned, not overly toothy, but certainly with a shark’s fair share. Sliding his keys into the front pocket of his jeans — nice ones, no holes, blue as denim should be — he walked up to the bar and eased onto the seat beside her, the rolled up cuffs of his button down pulling slightly up his forearms. “I’m still not surprised. Intrigued, but not surprised.”
Glancing at the brick wall of a bartender, he tipped his head. “Whatever she’s having. Please.” And to her, he finally held out a hand. “A pleasure to finally meet you.”
