Log: Loki (Nish) and Aedan + Bartender
The Cat's newest bartender, a solid brick wall of a man with ash-grey skin and a red birthmark over one eye, had no opinions on whiskey. Fortunately the liquors were stored on the shelf in order of what was considered to be the finest, and he poured those out genially enough as long as no one asked for ridiculously-titled concoctions or stupid garnishes. He appeared to have no opinion of any of the patrons either, as he greeted each with the same humorless, expectant stillness, like each one was just a drink order he had to fill before he could do something more useful. The "something more useful" in this case was unpacking a crate of bottles and stowing them one by one under the bar, which he went back to doing almost immediately after the redhead started drinking.
There was only one other patron in the bar, a regular with a beer bottle watching the game on the other side of the room, who waved before zoning out to the screen again. The heavy bottles clinked into place under the bar, the hump of a plaid-covered back the only visible sign there was someone there to keep track of the till which he did on a physical pad of paper with a stub of pencil from his front pocket. The pad was visible from the bar and showed tiny ideograms (not artistic but functional, fast and leaning) and pictographic tick marks for numbers. Nishka's had a relatively complex oblong shape to indicate the type of drink and quality of her whiskey, as well as a mark to show she'd had two drams.
