Re: [Treatment Facility: Dami & Misha]
"Then I suppose we need not have her over for dinner. Leena, I mean. But I do not know that I would believe nothing is there between them. It is momentous that Leena should invite someone out." Damian enjoyed the feeling of his hair being played with. I am not saying he would admit this aloud, but it was obvious from the way he sat loosely against the boy, no longer even fidgeting. He wiped his cheek against the oversized plaid like a cat leaving scent. "How about you will hire a car? It is much easier to get into the city this way. Or do you prefer the din of others and a sticky seat?" He asked this with some cheek and one eye opening. He pushed at Misha's blond bangs, dragging his thumb over forehead. "You cannot choose when to require someone, you fool." This was said with the utmost softness. "It is better to have someone than not, as I said, even if it cannot be me."
He sighed slightly, but it was a comfortable noise, before offering a petulant pout and shaking his head against shoulder. "No. I want to talk to you and see you." Damian kissed Misha, and, to be honest, he expected the boy to kiss him back. When it did not happen, he took to trailing fingertips over seam of lips, feeling breath as it came out with words. His touch stilled only when Misha reached for his chin. "What if I—Even if I squeeze the pendant, you cannot feel it? Are you made utterly human by this earthbinding? Is it difficult to sleep, not hearing anyone but your own thoughts? Is this why you prefer a hostel and a bus?"
