Re: Misha B/Tim D
You know well as I that folks that don't understand what they done wrong can't be held responsible for them things. I been in jail, and I been locked away, and everyone knows that. Damian understanding what he done was wrong, that ain't going to come less it's taught to him. I reckon he does know now, and normal he wouldn't do nothing like what he did, but he was real high all week. It ain't an excuse, but it's the why of it.
I spent a whole lot of time with your brother, watching him go from something that thought obliterating the world was right, how he was taught, to seeing him help folks all over town and city and not kill a soul. He's turned his back on his granddaddy, and he's done it all without a lick of support from anyone. That counts for something.
And I don't reckon killing anyone's right, but then I don't reckon beating them to shards is neither. Still, he can make amends some. The men he killed, I don't know a thing bout them, but I'd bet my life on them being real awful men. That don't mean their families were awful. Let Damian help them, even if it's anonymous, to prove he's sorry.
Your brother's real strong. Give him time for growing, and I think you'll see he can be a real force for good in the world. But he needs help getting there, and he needs guidance. You're a moral man, and you're concerned with what's right, and you can help. A jail won't help Damian, and you and I both know that. You can.
