Re: Cat & Reece, one of the front sections.
[As far as Reece knew, The Rocky Horror Picture Show was actually... like, the same age-ish as Cat. So, it had nothing to do with Cat being old, not knowing it. It was a sort of specific cult appeal type thing, and, even if in her real youth Cat had been sort of a misfit, it wasn't the campy theater sort. Reece wasn't that type either. He'd gone to a showing once, a midnight one, where people like, threw bread at the screen, but really, he'd watched most things alone in his room, because, you know, no friends.—He smiled at Cat when she asked if he was going to compare her to Tim Curry.] Uh, no. I'm not going to call you a transvestite. That's... un...cool. I was thinking of a specific song. The one about Meatloaf. Where the narrator deadpans the 'and he never brought her nothing but pain,' or whatever? About you biting me? [He wriggled away from the poke, but not enough to unwind his arm from narrow shoulders.] I was going to do it, but then I realized you might not get it and then it'd just be sort of awkward, almost like it is right now.
[Lana was still singing, and Reece shrugged a little.] You can't tell me Tim Curry didn't look, I mean, like, pretty good in the corset though. [Not that Cat had seen it.] Not like, I thought it was sexy. Uh. Just, I remember being like, whoa, men can do that? Anyway. [He nudged against Cat.] You can nap for the flight. You're bound not to get a lot of sleep once we land.
