Re: [Capital University: Misha & Damian]
Misha preferred the chlorine, and he wasn't in any hurry to go losing the bet he'd made, and with full knowledge he was going to lose it. But, treading water there and tugging at Damian's waistband, it clearly wasn't going to be nothing he was allowed to keep on doing. Damian, he wasn't distracted how Misha intended, and 'stead the swimming was 'bout to begin. Still, Misha, he wasn't fussed none. He was glad Damian was being competitive, and he was glad to see the other boy feeling better than he had the night 'fore.
"On three," he agreed, frowning down as Damian plucked fingers from waistband, and then he did his best to emulate Damian's posture from his own lane.
When Damian got to three, Misha pushed off the wall, and he did try to swim as fast as he could manage. He dove deep, and that was wasting time in a way he wasn't aware of any. He dove, and he swam and he thought it was a real long distance, but he wasn't near the side of the pool when he surfaced. He splashed then, as he swam. Damian, he might not've been merciless, but he reached the other side of that pool a whole long time 'fore Misha did.
When Misha's hand touched the wall, he grabbed onto it, and he pulled himself up 'gainst it. He was breathing hard, and he glanced over and, through red-rimmed eyes, he looked over at the boy in the next lane. He turned, back to the wall now and using it to rest 'gainst, and he closed his eyes and worked on catching his breath. It was a real human thing, and doing things like this, they made Misha feel earthbound in a way he normally did get much of outside of sex. Could be it was why he enjoyed the dancing, too, on account of it came with real human and burning muscles, and even the horrors of his childhood had felt like living.
