Trying to keep his head down (mostly) over the past year or so, Sid wasn't terribly familiar with people around town. He wasn't sure if that made him more or less suspicious, but long story short, he wasn't sure he'd ever met anyone he'd necessarily peg as Jamie's sisters. But then again, he and Ward didn't necessarily look like brothers unless you squinted a bit, so who was he to judge?
He snorted at the joke. "No I prefer it when my eggs aren't green." By some weird twist of fate, Jamie wasn't terribly far off guessing his name--at least he'd pegged him as someone with a three letter name that started with "S". "I'm Sid."
"Do you now?" Sid asked, pausing with his fork midway between his plate and his mouth. "How does one get to that point?" It was partially facetious, partially sarcastic, but mostly curious. Frankly, it would be really impressive to meet anyone who always knew what was good for them. It was a rare quality.
