Re: log: louis and ren
Louis flushed with warmth. Everything felt right about this - even the idea of going deeper into the house, and finding somewhere a little more private and a little more quiet.
A small alarm bell did ring in the back of his head. It wasn't too long, after all, since he'd become lost in the city on a wave of other people's wants and needs. What was stopping that from happening again when he climbed into bed with Ren? Who could say what might happen if he crossed the line from kissing and waltzing?
For better or for worse, he smothered the impulse to ruin this for himself. Just this once, he wanted to believe everything could work out the way it was supposed to.
He took Ren's hand, looking at it for just a moment, and he smiled. It was too good for anything to go wrong, he reasoned. He had earned this. "It's fermented," he said, airily. "It knows how to wait."
He stepped a little closer, ready to enter the house.
