log: louis and ren
Ren couldn't help the smile that followed that. There was something sweet about it, and something about that sent his blood rushing. Something that made him want to do it again, maybe. As they slowed, he glanced down, wanting to reach for the fingers again. It had been nice, that closeness, and that too was something he could chase.
"I miss the way he'd make me feel when he wasn't being cruel, sometimes," Ren admitted. "I don't know if that's the same thing as missing him. I don't know that I've thought about it much." Maybe the cruelty had only made the moments where he wasn't - the moments where he reached out and gave Ren every positive emotion that could be granted to anyone - only stand out all the more. He didn't know if that would mean they would matter less in a relationship not punctuated with such cruelty and maybe he had been afraid to ask the question, but right now...
Right now he chased the kiss as Louis offered it. A chaste kiss as invitation, and then a follow-through, and Ren stepped forward, closing the gap between the two of them, sliding an arm up Louis' chest, stopping near his neck. The wine was maybe better from Louis' lips and tongue, and Ren could drink more of it through that vessel. He pressed, until he had to breathe, and had to pull back, his heart beat fast, and everything around him feeling slightly unsteady. "If that's a bashfulness attack," he murmured softly. "I'm going to give you another one, and another one still."
