Re: log: louis and ren
Louis could do the math, thankfully. If it wasn't Ren's house, and he wasn't trespassing, then he knew the people who owned it. Relatives? Friends? "I expect a house like this could hide a great many stories," he said, as he approached. He was a lanky man, with just enough narrow height to hold a presence in a crowd. When he'd been younger, that height hadn't been enough to keep him safe. As an adult, he had learned how to lean sartorially to turn it to his advantage. He always dressed smartly, even when working the front counter at the shop.
He couldn't have said why the kiss was unexpected. Perhaps because it was so sweet, almost chaste. He kissed back with pleased surprise. He wasn't quite sure where he stood with Ren, but a kiss wasn't a bad place to start.
"Let's take the air," he said, hitting the word hard in his half-brogue with real relish, and he smiled warmly at him. Ren seemed a little off balance, and he felt a need to steady him. "Does this castle hold wine glasses?"
