That was a good point. He didn't think about it frequently, but the fact that he could walk right into this establishment and be allowed to throw around weapons (albeit with instruction and guidance) and not be allowed to have a beer afterwards was a little odd. "Kinda funny," he agreed, "It seems like the sort of place where someone should hand me a mug of mead or something when I'm done." He laughed a little. There was that mead again. He hadn't even ever had it, but it was just one of things that popped up in D&D campaigns and renaissance fairs so it was probably kind of (maybe, vaguely) accurate.
Ben could already tell that this was one of those things he actually wanted to take the time to get good at. He was pretty picky with his pastimes, so it was definitely a good sign. He watched Loki's next demonstration with awe. He could do that. Maybe. Definitely not as well, but he could do it. "Okay," he said. He did a couple fake throws just to practice form before finally letting his axe go. This throw was quite a bit better. More inside the target than the last one, on the next ring in. He was, frankly, quite pleased with himself. "Should I go get it and do another?"
