Re: [mary/patrick save a girl]
Patrick was having what could be called 'hard times,' but being here improved matters. It was always easier for him when he had something physical to do, and being a white knight always did wonders for the dude, and so he winked when Del grinned.
"Modern clothing is most fashionable, my girl, and there are other modern conveniences that I very much missed when I was away from Repose. Showers, for example, and cars. Dude, I love a good horse to ride, but my truck, man, my truck. And MP3s. Taylor Swift." She grinned and winked, and he followed her into the hut.
The parchment was unrolled, and he looked it, getting down to business. The catacombs looked deep, but the layout was simple enough, and he had been reading maps for years, man. All right. "What are the known threats down there?" he asked, and he opened the door to where the huntsman stayed. The dude was no longer in a cell, and he was treated as a guest, though he was not allowed to leave the hut itself without guard - he was, after all, human. "Dude, come help us. Show us where your girl is, and we will be off."
