Re: [B&B: Nish & Atticus & Aiden]
Introductions, something Aiden could teach master classes at, if ‘introduction’ translated into entering a room all dark and gloom, draped in a long coat looking like death incarnate, who also worked as a runway model on the side. In a not very well conceptualized attempt to look less intimidating he shrugged off the heavy coat and folded it over his arm as he stepped into the study. Still 6 feet tall, covered in tattoos and with a permanent scowl on his face, but minus the coat, he stopped in front of the desk. Introduction, Atticus had wanted Aiden to introduce himself, as to how he drew a blank, I’ve come to reap your dead lover’s soul most likely not the right way to do it. He settled for the classic: “Don’t be afraid.” His deep, raspy voice, paired with the resting bitch face only made it mildly sound like he had come to eat Nish's seven young goats alive.
James didn’t seem pleased with his presence, oh not all all. There was little the spirit could do about it, except for fleeing like the rest of them. Aiden didn’t take any pleasure in their fear. Stoic as ever. None of them had been his to collect, so none of them were his problem.
He made a conscious effort to stay in Nish's line of vision, though, even when she looked at Atticus, taking a small step to the side. He had never quite figured out how the whole thing with forcing humans to see him actually worked, only that it did take an effort on his part, interaction to remind them that he was there when their minds started to drift.
