Re: [The Bridge over the River: Patrick/Newt]
Man, we discussed this, and you said it was the same as straight people when I asked about who decided what to do. [Dude was a little red at the ear tips, but luckily these were hidden beneath cream beanie.] I don't know. You just try the new position? Des and I tried no new positions, man. I think she was so concerned with me not thinking her dirty that she was every bit as vanilla as I am. [Which, yes, more red ear tips. So much so that dude didn't even blush at the amusement in Newt's voice about the modest clothing.]
All right. [He knew he had done much pointing since the book, but he was not associating it with inappropriate moments, man. He just pointed.] Man, I think a dude can have dumb thoughts he does not act on. I only informed Adrian, which I assume is what you are referring to, to get him to understand that this was serious for me. I did not intend for it to become a call for therapy. [He lowered the pointing finger, and then Newt said that thing about being a problem, and Patrick was standing in front of him and not pointing. Dude did not hesitate in answering.] Yes. Not as much as actually doing it, but, yes. What does that have to do with your comment about departing and being a problem?
