Re: [The Bridge over the River: Patrick/Newt]
Oh, well, I'm perhaps less respectful, is all. [And likely he was.] Specifically about Sue. I'm rather private about the rest of it, though you might not believe me, since I've been rather too forthcoming with you about it. [He smiled.] What, pray tell, are modest garments, exactly? No more shorts, is it?
[Newt frowned. He didn't know how he sounded, but he'd meant what he said about Adrian, about being willing to talk about it. That his own expression was the reason for not being able to do so—well, he didn't like that.] I'll admit, I do feel rather a lot like running away today. I don't know why, really. But, I believe you were more upset about Adrian than I was. He said to watch you. Should I be? [Newt smiled.] Well, I'm glad to've the chance. [To see him, he meant. Newt leaned against the ropes, keeping his head forward, chin to chest, as Patrick talked.] That sounds horrible, [he said of the world.] Can it be restored? [He blinked and looked over.] Do you think I take all the creatures out? I don't mind. But, it's up to you. Perhaps I'll make a trip somewhere. [He looked over to Patrick, to look at him through fringe.] Not permanently.
