He was, he supposed, although he didn't like to think of it like that. It wasn't as if he didn't use magic, and in the context of this town and all of the strange things that happened here, he was realizing that he maybe didn't need to hide it like he had thought he might. If there was a place to land where he could be himself, perhaps Repose was it after all. He took a sip from the drink he had in his hand and then he put it down on the bar near them, glancing at it and tapping into that force he understood as magic in order to lift it from the bar, leaving it in mid-air, without anything touching it or holding it, unnoticed by anyone near them, or perhaps just giving some poor drunk club-goer the thought that they'd had a bit too much.
"There's more," he shrugged. "But I don't use it unless I have to." Unless he were saving a room full of AIs from a fight to the death, perhaps. "I use it. Sometimes. But not drawing attention to oneself is one of the few rules that I follow, more because it makes my life easier than because I want to do it."
