[There he was. Eddie, dapper in a pinstripe suit and tie that paid homage to Em. It made her chuckle warmly, the sound strange in a lower tenor, but it was familiarity at a time when nothing was familiar. Alright. She could do this. After all, when had she ever turned her back on a challenge.
She took a deep breath, and she walked across the diner in long strides that retained enough femininity to draw attention. But it wasn't the attention she usually drew, and she tried not to focus on it as she slid into the booth across from Eddie. Awkward, too-long legs that she wasn't quite sure what to do with, and she pulled down on the sunglasses, leaving them at the bridge of her nose and allowing the hoodie to remain up over dark curls.]
