[restaurant; ren & hannah]
"I am with you," Ren laughed. "But maybe I'm not when I'm actually a little nervous and really want to say the right thing," he pointed out.
He glanced up at the waitress, breaking the conversation with Hannah to order vegetable tempura, and shrimp tempura, a curry, a rice noodle dish, and a falafel dish that they could share family style. He completed it with a wine, and as the waitress walked away turned his attention back to Hannah.
But he hadn't really thought about clothing. He'd wear what he normally wore, or at least, a slightly more dressy version of that. He glanced down at the clothes he was wearing. "Well, I hadn't given it a lot of thought. But usually it's jeans, and maybe a sweater, a leather jacket. Depends on how warm it is, but something along those lines. Do you think I should dress up more?"
Theatre though, well, he would need help, but he was still uncertain what help even meant. "How are you at managing details?" He asked her, half teasing, but also there was a bit of wondering to it. Ren was many things that were good, but details, managing things? He wasn't certain he could do any of that without help. He could see a big picture, and possibly predict emotional response to it? But lining up ticket sales, and making certain things were in order? It was one of those things that made him uncertain that the notion was anything close to a decent idea.
