[restaurant; ren & hannah]
Somehow Hannah always made Ren feel as if they'd been friends for a lot longer than they really had been. It was probably her tendency to just reach out and hug him, and to ask him questions that someone that he'd known for most of his life, might ask him. Tonight was proving to be yet another example of this typical situation, with both the hug, the kiss, and the follow-up question. He shook his head, bemused as he processed what she was asking of him.
"Uh, sure?" He considered the question, but even as an edge of awkwardness sat in as he considered the prospect of talking to a total stranger, he knew he'd do it. He'd had enough awkward times sorting through things, and he hadn't really had anyone to help him through any of it. Ren wasn't certain he was anywhere close to an expert, but he had some experience, and he was decent at listening he supposed. "I could do that. I don't think I need to do an anonymous thing, it's not like - my orientation isn't some big secret really."
He reached out, linked his arm through Hannah's and glanced at the restaurant. It was world cuisine was really the only way to describe it. You couldn't put a particular type of cuisine on it, but spices and flavors and there was the smell of good things pouring out of the door. He looked back at Hannah. "I think, cause it's got good memories from when I was a University student, and I wanted to share it.
