[Janus' posture indicated he would put his hands in his pockets, but the pants didn't allow for that kind of room. He didn't exactly move away, because the furniture in the Carriage House didn't exactly allow for that kind of thing, but he leaned away from both where they sat, without clear intention, extending the space. He put his arms over his chest when he was told to calm down and said nothing.

[Janus looked away from the two men, worrying his lower lip. He blindly unlocked his phone and scrolled through notifications. He saw nothing, of course, and looked up at talk of the government. Like Atticus, he was not surprised. He frowned darkly, but had nothing to say. If his feelings were strong, he didn't speak them. Instead he said:] Are we going to need to fuck them up when they come again, or did they let you go?
