Re: [ring shopping: misha & james]
The old man rambled on, and Misha just kept saying, every so often, that James should take his time.
But it took a whole lot less time than Misha expected, and he hopped off the counter when James indicated he'd found the ring he wanted. Misha's own ring was currently swiveled 'round, so the rock was 'gainst his closed palm. It was, he was learning, safer that way, least when he was in the city. He futzed with it as he jumped down, and it was only a few steps in the small shop to the case James was standing at.
He looked on down at the ring, and he smiled. It was real pretty, in a simple way, and he reckoned Nilus would like anything James picked out for him. He nodded at the old man, who indicated it was a real fine choice, and he took it from the case to go shine it and put it in a box.
Misha, he leaned back 'gainst the counter, and he smiled at James. "I think that one's real fine. How are you thinking on giving it to him?"
