Re: [ring shopping: misha & james]
He had experienced this before once or twice prior to his death and then again once Nilus had brought him back. He didn’t mind the tug, that was normal, it was the fact that he could be standing somewhere one minute and somewhere else the next that he’d never been able to wrap his mind around. There were just some things men didn’t need to know.
James nodded in understanding and waited to be taken wherever it was Misha knew. He trusted the angel. It was so quick in their friendship, they’d known each other only days and yet James felt as if he’d known the man much longer than that. He had, sort of, but not like this.
He’d been to the Village with Nilus. The shops lining the streets were familiar to his sharp eyes and James was glad to be where they were going so quickly. Everything was apt to set him off and so he ducked into the small jewelry store with Misha, focusing on that task.
The quiet was good. It was perfect. James nodded and he moved forward into the overwhelming task of finding the perfect ring.
