She quirked a brow when Nishka admitted to knowing Eddie, and Cat would be asking all kinds of curious kitty questions about that. After all, there wasn't much about Eddie's life she didn't know, and she was a jealous little kitten when her friends kept secrets from her. Well, truthfully, she was always a jealous little kitten. "Well, if you're a friend of Eddie's? Drinks on me," which was true for anyone who was close to the riddled man. As for staying in town? "This place has a way of making people stay." After all, she'd come out here for Eddie in the first place, and here she was, still in town and a few years later.
Well, anyway. She filled the glass again when it was suggestively pushed over, and she topped Jack's off. "I'm about to close up, but feel free to stay until I lock the doors and turn off the lights." She quirked a brow at Jack, and she left the bottle between the town of them on the bar.
With that closing statement - lawyer terminology (hah) - she left the two to their drinks and their stories. Cat, she wasn't much of a sharer.
