Nish's brows rose at Cat, her slightly muddled brain attempting to reconcile the jerk on the forums with the girl pouring her drinks, and finding it wasn't all that hard. She didn't seem like a jerk now, but then neither did Nish. Perhaps that was one thing they had in common. She raised her glass to her after it was filled and smirked at her, "well, in my line of work, I've discovered that guilt is a somewhat relative term," she said. Especially in cases where there was wrongdoing on both sides; the task then was to see who was most in the wrong. Fortunately for her clients, she was very good at tipping those scales in her favour.
She took a sip from her glass and set it down on the bar. "I'm sure there's something though. Karma? Fate? I've seen too much to believe that everything is just random happenstance." Loki would agree with her, if he could speak up, the alcohol having suppressed him to the back of her mind. His whole existence had been dictated by fate, much to his chagrin.
