Re: Log: PJ/Steve - Carriage House
She watched him carefully and braced herself for a freak out that didn’t seem to come, which she was grateful for. She stayed calm, even though the worry on her face was no doubt clear. She wasn’t great at hiding that sort of thing on a normal day and this didn’t qualify at all. She shook her head and smiled a bit, “Only in my cool dreams,” she said gently. “I’m Parker. PJ. I’m Peggy’s niece. You and I are friends, we live here. What’s the last thing you remember, Steve? I’ve been out of town for a little bit, but we can figure this out.”
She didn’t know if it was true, or what was happening, but she did want to help. And she wasn’t going to freak out, or lead to anyone else freaking out. Or make anything worse. She hoped. Maybe Steve was having some kind of memory lapse, maybe there was something going on in the town. Maybe he was having. A weird soldier episode. She didn’t know. But she was willing to walk him through it. Sure he’d do the same for her.
