Re: Muerte / Eddie
[Eddie was good at faking a lot of things, but his heart was something that he wore on his sleeve. He could try and go months and months hiding how it felt, but eventually he'd have to fess up to the truth. With Muerte it went from simply wanting to see her again to needing her by his side to help chase some demons away. She saw him in a way no one else did and he needed that now.
He fell into her arms as he always had. That first hug that went on a little too long, the first dance across a mobster's ballroom floor. No space between them and his body warm under the silk armor he wore. She shifted to make their bodies fit like puzzle pieces and he sighed happy against her lips.] Thought I'd never see you again. [Pain gently spiraled through his words, like it was being released under a lock he had buried deep.
The elevator door chimed and he caught her in his arms before the opening doors could make her stumble back. Eddie was still graceful as ever. A strange member of the cat family. He took her hand, kissed the back of it and lead her to his room. It was guarded by two men at the end of the hall. Lavish and important. When the doors opened, it revealed a suite big enough to be some lucky billionare's apartment. Gilded, over the top.] Not quite my cabin in the woods, I know.
