Re: The New Year
Now close enough to have a pretty good look into the room (only a couple feet or so), the wolf had to give up all the ground cover in favor of a better view, but it was mostly worth it. The house (yes, thank you, for him, a "house") was even nicer than Cisco had thought originally, polished wood and fancy furniture.
He winced in sympathy when Santa burned his hand. He'd done that before, and it had to sting. Hopefully there wasn't an ER visit in Santa's immediate future.
Cisco's curiosity had been satisfied, and there was no real reason for him to continue to lurk around peeking through windows. To his credit, as a wolf Cisco didn't really think of privacy like most people did. His additional senses gave him far more information than anyone was used to sharing, and being around people who spontaneously went back and forth between naked humans and huge wolves meant there wasn't a lot of respect for personal space. All excuses, really. Santa was a rather attractive man.
All the same, at this point he was... probably only there to see if Santa was the kind of person to chuck a delicious steak out the window in anger.
