Re: Cat C/Eddie N
Well, I'll take that entire sentiment as a wonderful Christmas present, even if it wasn't intended to be mine. You're part of this town and this family, and people need you here. You bring something unique to the table, a male voice that isn't a tiny vigilante, and that is respected and knows these people fearlessly. Sure, it's messy, but mess is what we love. I've decided to go back to work at the bar. No more hiding in the train station. So, apparently it's the season for returning to living.
I don't know how Stephanie became such a pleaser, but she is. And the thing is? She tries too hard, and it backfires. If she was just Steph then it would work, but she doesn't do that. She's so afraid of losing everyone that she doesn't give them the girl they know and love. And, no, being that way is a sure way to end up miserable. Better say the thing aloud and let the cards fall where they fall. But, as someone who's spent the past year trying to be someone else, it gets to the point where it's hard to quit.
Ah, yes, Harvey. I always wondered if you would be happier in a relationship with more of an equal, I won't lie about that. [...] Do you love her/him?
