Re: Nora's room - Gwen & Nora
"He can't access your forum account, not without your password. They don't work like that. I made sure before I started using mine." Gwen wouldn't put it beyond Doctor Briar to hurt someone in order to get their forum password, but he wouldn't be able to access Nora's account in any other way, even if he did talk to security. For Gwen, this was one her last bit of freedom, and she was glad the Dragon couldn't hack into it or anything. "As long as you lock things, it should be safe."
Gwen wasn't going to admit to going outside. She'd already gotten kind of caught by the new Dragon enforcer, and Melody had already told people that Gwen had a way out, and it had cost her that tiny bit of freedom. Instead, she focused on the science of it all. "I've only been alive six months. It's kind of complicated, but the doctors here know how my physiology works. I don't want to leave, Nora. I believe in what I'm doing. I wouldn't run away." Which wasn't a lie. Gwen was loyal to the Dragon's vision. Okay, so she wanted to go outside sometimes, but that didn't mean she had any interest in fleeing. She had a purpose, one that was bigger than just her tiny life, and she was totally good with that.
"But it's not the same for you. If Doctor Briar's threatening you, then it's not safe for you here." Gwen had as much certainty about that as she did in her own purpose. Sometimes experiments hurt, but the scientists shouldn't get pleasure from that. That was totally weird and not okay.
