Re: [Factory: Leo & Sam.]
[Leo felt like the youngest, too. He regularly forgot that Sam was his younger sister since she seemed like she had to grow up a lot faster than he did. Leo was sheltered, even when he was being a grumpy asshole. And, you know what? Even if he wasn't sheltered, the way he acted was pretty fucking mature for someone his age. Sam, though- for how immature she acted sometimes, she got things he didn't.] They were just some assholes taking advantage of a little man. [Leo shrugged, hands in his pockets and he leaned back stiff as a board like he didn't want to be a snitch. Snitches got stitches, but he already got hurt, so what did it matter? He knew who they were. He couldn't act like he didn't search for them right after getting jumped.] Henry, Zach and Matthew. They work at the Uber Burger on 29th and Grove. They look like- have you ever seen Casper? They look like those crappy uncle ghosts from Casper, but younger [Leo relaxed and grinned.] What are you going to do? Fuck them up?
[Leo nodded at her love logic and went to work finding a way past the fence.] He probably was planning on killing himself after. Maybe he hated her so much that he didn't want her anymore, but he didn't want anyone else to have her. That's pretty common in partner murders. [Spoken like a true detective. His fingers snagged on a weak point in the fence and he pulled it back for her.] So, my dad and I were going to go investigate and we got t-boned by some asshole. Everything was perfect in making it look like an accident. Guy with a history of pain killer abuse gets behind the wheel and wham, bam thank you ma'am. But, right after my show was cancelled- this fucking condo thing was put in the works. I always got a feeling it wrapped up too nicely.
