[Muerte chuckles. They knew that there was going to be confusion once they started talking to old friends. Acquaintances. ...Eddie. And maybe a reveal should have been a longer time in coming; get to talking more, work back up to something in person. But it had already been a long time, and they didn't want to wait for this. That just felt like anxiety layered on uncertainty.
And others may not know that Eddie still has the cabin, but they know. Of course they know.
The door opens, and there's no reaction from them at first. Just eyes locked on Eddie, taking him in like it'd been forever.
