Re: Jack/Leena
Who's to know? I won't. As far as I know, you're a woman at a party that I abandoned, which was horribly ungallant. You could be marvellous, or terrible, but at the moment, you're just a you.
I do. They don't like it. When I'm older, when I go to the party, I'm a depressed addict pathetic over people, and I have a dead wife. My name is Jack, I like excitement and I hate expectations and I'm trying not to be an very specific awful person but am awful in all the other ways. I think these are probably more true than the addict and wife thing [...] Amnesia, the permanent kind? Surely they should knock it off, if you've got amnesia, shouldn't you ask, rather than be told? It's like serving someone peas if they want potatoes.
What do you mean?
Thanks. I mean, I can't promise you won't decide to do it personally, but I can't object if I'm one of millions. [...] Got it.
