Re: Mean-Eyed Cat: Cat & Reece E
She rolled her eyes. "Do you have to be so dramatic?"
She rounded the table, and she started lining up shots. It was as if she wasn't concerned at all about what he was asking. Because, well, she wasn't concerned at all. She considered telling him that he was never going to make it up that slimy corporate ladder of his, not if he didn't learn to scheme without less squirming. After all, this? Was just a scheme. It was a harmless one, when it was all said and done. Low risk, lots of gain, and no one even needed to bleed, which was a nice change for her.
"We should probably be seen together a few times. Tonight counts. Me going into your room earlier? Counts. This is the nosiest town I've ever seen." She didn't look up from the table, and she grinned when she managed an impressive little combo in two corner pockets. "Forums? Definitely." Another ball banked against the side and crossed a diagonal back to the pocket in front of her. Then, she looked over at him. Leaning on the table, and her elbows on felt. "We can say you don't like PDA, and we can jump on your bed at the B&B a few times. Loudly. Better? I'd hate for you to get cooties."
