log: adrian and ren
"Then you'd best stay put, drink the tea, and not fall asleep on me," Ren looked up and offered Adrian a lopsided half-grin.
"A good cast," Ren mused this over as he started dismantling the rest of the espresso machine so that he could wipe everything out and wash it up. He started first on the espresso machine, wiping in and around everything so that the stainless steel would be spotless and shine. It would take him a while to wipe it down, then he'd wash the individual parts, and then he'd wipe down and restock everything else, although he'd done a lot of the restocking before he'd even started to close things down. "And history, not philosophy... You want fiction or something more true? Maybe historical fiction?"
He could feel something deeper inside the machine so he leaned over, reaching underneath, and trying to look back in the darkness to make certain he was getting all of it out. It was difficult to come up with the perfect book sometimes, and history was such a wide subject, and while there wasn't a lot that Ren was doing at the moment, he did enjoy putting the right book in someone's hand. It was one of the few challenges it felt like he got here in Repose.
"European history? Or American history? Or something else entirely?" He pulled back, straightened up, and raised an eyebrow at Adrian.
