Re: [Flower Shop: Sam & Dawn]
Once again, bright blue eyes went wide at the information, and she couldn't help but let out a long and somewhat impressed breath that rolled off her lips. "Twelve." They must have lived in a castle. Or the equivalent. Some of the huge houses on the lake couldn't even handle twelve children. "They're all over the place, but do you ever all get together in one place? It sounds like it would be an adventure." There was also questions she wanted to ask about if any of the kids ever got forgotten about like that kid in that one Christmas movie she saw in the hospital. Something about being home alone. Anyway. Dawn blushed again when she was called out about her lack of swearing and shook her head sheepishly, "Not often at all."
Spun-gold curls bounced as she nodded, eager for the dinner and to meet this massive family. Okay, so she knew not everyone would be there, but it was still a whole lot of people. And Sam was right. Dawn liked people. She just wasn't used to having a lot of them around at once. "I can't wait. And if there's anything I can bring, I'm more than happy to make something." And she was. Because it was really important to her to make a good impression and be accepted by them. If Leo's family didn't like her? Well, they would cross that bridge when they got there. For now, she hoped they were as open-minded and had as large of a heart as Sam seemed to. "Leo's allowed to be grumpy, but I will never tell him that. It's cute. Especially when he's trying to dislike something he obviously likes." Dawn could see Leo do it with other things, but she hadn't seen it with her. The girl could be kind of oblivious at times.
"Touring with the company was wonderful. But. It was very hectic, and moving from hotel room to hotel room was all quite wearisome." Dawn couldn't help but be honest. The fame and adoration was nice, but it wasn't her. "I wanted a place where I could call home." She squeezed Sam's hand in return, and smiled her sunshine bright smile in thanks for the comfort about the coma, "It is a good start to the memories already." But the news of how long Sam had been here? "You moved while you were pregnant? Are you some sort of superwoman?" A joke, but in this town? Entirely possible, she supposed. "What's her name?"
In between entering the delivery information into the computer and chatting with Sam, Dawn pulled a card out from one of the drawers and put it down in front of Sam with a pen so she could fill it out with whatever she wanted to say to Iris.
