Re: [Flower Shop: Sam & Dawn]
Sam was all about sudden influx. The girl was a maelstrom and there was no mistaking it. Even bummed like she was recently, she was gappy smiles and bouncing feet. She just wasn't made for still, and it was only painting that got her to chill the fuck down long enough to sit still. Being undead only seemed to make her antsy more pronounced, but she tried to keep it under wraps around people that knew her and might freak over it. But Dawn was new, yeah? So Sam didn't see any reason to NOT be Sam.
She didn't have any built up expectations about the girl Leo said was his gf, but Sam was hella eager to like Dawn. It wasn't that she didn't like her sibs' significant others, yeah? Sam adored Manning. Most days, she liked Manning more than she liked Iris, but it was more than some desire to like this girl. Nah, see, Sam wanted really good shit for Leo. She didn't know her bro well, not with all the years between them, but she remembered him when they were small and before he became another casualty to Alexander greed. It was hard, watching everyone get sold or shipped off, and it was hard to be the kid left in the tower waiting on the ogre to walk her down the aisle. So, yeah, Sam wanted good shit for her bro.
Dawn blushed, and Sam immediately liked her. "Yeah, he mentioned you. I was kinda checking you out," she admitted unabashedly. It was THAT fucking easy with Sam. Won over by a blush, and her gappy grin went wider as she looked at the dahlia. The name made her Sam frown a little, since she'd hella liked a different Dahlia once, but it was a temporary thing. Her smile was back quick, and she turned her attention from the flower back to Dawn. "They have dogs. Her name's Iris, but IDK if irises would be too cheesy." Sam knew nothing about blooms, but she DID know about being nosy and she gave Dawn a conspiratorial smile. "So, how about you and Leo? You're way pretty."
