Re: leo/dawn deer rescues
[Leo and Dawn had that in common. He had family he tried to stay in contact with, but the friends department was lacking. He was good at surface stuff. The bad attitude and grumpy demeanor kept people at a comfortable arms length. He didn't trust people because he spent his entire childhood proving people were frauds.
But, Dawn managed to get under his skin. He knew he should have been more critical of her, he should have resisted the entire night's adventure, but he couldn't. And he was glad he didn't. Leo pulled back to look at her and tried to fight back a fond smile. He glanced over at the doe, nestled safely with her family and finally able to rest.]
After eating those brownies, I had nothing left to lose. [He quipped back and then reached for her hand.] Without getting caught? That's totally going to interfere with the foaming at the mouth trick I've come up with. [He smirked and then lead them back to the flower shop for PJs and pillow forts.]
