Re: leo/dawn deer rescues
[She nodded along like she had heard this all before, and she had, just not to this particular level. Her eyebrows shot up in surprise when she saw his eyes.] Oh! [How does anyone really prepare for that? But he was standing around just looking at the cave and the surrounding area, and Dawn took a curious step forward to peer around at his profile, her eyes wide with questions. How did it work? Why did his eyes do that? Did he ever lose his keys? He interrupted her thoughts with the news of the blood trail, and Dawn straightened up quickly even if it was very obvious she had been checking him and his eyes out.
Dawn reached out to brush her fingers along the back of his arm, and she smiled up at him in the darkness of the woods.] It doesn't freak me out. [It was different, that's for sure, but she found it fascinating more than anything. No wonder there was always some clue for him to find. She smirked from the memory, and squeezed his arm lightly.] I like it.
Lead the way. [Dawn put her faith into him, and there would be more time for questions later. Pillow fort later. Now they had to make sure the doe was okay. Maybe she found a place to hide. Maybe she had gotten herself stuck somewhere. The one thing Dawn wouldn't allow herself to believe was that the doe was dead. Worry drew her face down, but she kept herself close to Leo's side as he found the trail the way that he did.]
