Re: [Response.]
[This response comes with a tea bag tucked into the envelope and wrapped in a linen napkin:]
I can smell the burning trees. It's different than the fires all summer, but I don't know if I could really explain why it smells different. Maybe it's the crispness in the air. I don't think I have a favorite season yet. Ask me next year, when I might have experienced them all, and I might have one that I like better than the others. Right now, all the holidays make me think of palm trees and sticky days.
Please tell me more about your brothers.
The people here want caffeine. They work too much and too often, and most of them hardly ever go outside. It's like they eek everything they need from their microscopes and their little dishes of bacteria. I know they do amazing things, but I'm kind of a little sad for them.
I've made hot chocolate, and it's delicious. I've had pumpkin Starbucks and pumpkin cereal and pumpkin cookies and pumpkin chocolate. I've showered with pumpkin soap and washed my hair with pumpkin shampoo. I think I like peppermint better, but that's more of a Christmas flavor.
