Re: [Tea: Daniel/Claire]
Claire thought everyone should have hope. It was a strong emotion that walked hand in hand with faith. There was no issue with her having hope, it just happened to extend to everyone else being able to be saved. For herself, she could only hope that God's path could be lined with roses instead of brimstone. It would forever end in the exact same way no matter what. She was a little hypocritical herself. A fault of people with good intentions, which is coincidentally what the road to Hell was paved with.
"You would eviscerate him, I have no doubt," Claire said in that matter-of-fact way which came all too natural to her, a recognition of Daniel's strength along with the undertone that the fight might go differently with her. Coming from her warrior world, her unwavering certainty of Daniel's victory over the other hunter was toeing the flirtation line. Close. Not quite there. "Maybe I should have told him about you," she joked back into void of black that was his eyes. Those things did not bother her, the baring of teeth or inhuman darkness that stretched from eyelid to eyelid. Claire knew what he was, what he was capable of, and she still cared about him. Even if he would be better off without her. Safer.
Daniel's pat of her shin and answer was met with a huff through her nose and an amused roll of her eyes. "There is nothing you wish to know? I see. You definitely know how to make a woman feel special, culo." Claire kicked his thigh this time when she called him an ass, which really boiled down to nudging his leg a little harder with her toes than she did before.
