Re: log: leo/dawn go on a walk
Magic was capable of doing a lot of things. The impossible had no limits when it came to forces that could bend reality to their will. Considering the weird rumors about the library in the Capital, a few escaped storybook characters couldn't be completely out of the picture. But it was quite a lot to expect him to believe what she was telling him completely. It meant a lot to her that he was being this open about it.
Dawn laughed under her breath and shook her head, "If there was one, he hasn't." And then in nearly identical fashion as she had during the party when she confided Frostine's fate to Spidey, Dawn leaned forward with a smirk to teasingly whisper, "And Charming is Snow's prince." Which was true even here, despite Snow being heartbroken over Charming being honorable.
Dawn reached for his hands and took them, the soft pads of her thumbs running over his knuckles with a slow affection, "I think you're real." And the fact that he'd not gone running off cemented that opinion, since she was certain her subconscious would have had him storm off. "You can always figure out a way to remind me, I'm sure," she squeezed his hands and smirked up at him through heavy lashes. Whatever this was with them now had nothing to do with her past.
"Do you want to go home?" A simple question, especially considering what he just learned. It was a gentle way to give him a polite way out if he needed to think on things.
