quicklog: party eddie/stephanie
I love you, too. [He set the phone down and looked into the mirror of the bathroom. There he was in his D&D bard outfit complete with a lute he once stole from the carnival and a peacock feather in his cap. He looked ridiculous which would have been fine if the party went well. But, honestly it was sort of a bust. Puke cowgirl aside, he had honestly spent the entire party looking for his Knight which- well it was Bruce. He was looking for Bruce, he was heartbroken about him like a little brother would be about his brother running off and never looking back.
He took the hat off, flinging it off into the corner of the bathrooms and then started to roll up his sleeves so he looked a little more like him. The vest, the dress shirt underneath. That was the Eddie she was used to. He started to look around the bathroom for towels and a first aid kit so he was ready for her when she arrived.
He heard her soft voice followed by the masking playful call. Eddie turned to her and walked over and took her arm, turning it over so he could examine it. He touched her face and she was a little clammy.] You've lost a bit of blood. Nothing rest and a candy bar can't fix. [Eddie said and anyone who hadn't known him as long as Stephanie would have thought his tone was cold. Which was something he had in common with Bruce. When he needed to focus, when a situation was scary enough to make him want to cry, he had to lock up his emotions. It was the only way to get things done.
He motioned towards the sink and ran a towel under warm water to clean up the blood.]
