Re: quicklog: leo's apartment leo/dawn
[Leo didn't think this kind of thing through. If he had, she wouldn't have even been in his apartment for waffles. Leo knew how he felt about her the way you know there's a light on in the kitchen and you're too afraid of the dark to get out of bed and go turn it off. He had felt this way about other women before, but she was the first that didn't seem completely preoccupied with someone else. He didn't know how to deal with that.
So, he didn't think about it and kissed her. She was warm and the way she grabbed his shirt, her hands framing the words DOOM in grungy yellow made a whole lot of sense to him. He was doom and gloom and she liked him anyway, somehow. Leo let her kiss him slow like he was tasting a chocolate truffle for the first time. He moved closer, hand holding the nape of her neck as he deepened the kiss.]
Thanks for the waffles. [He said against her lips, all dry and serious before kissing her again.]
