Re: quicklog: leo's apartment leo/dawn
[Dawn had thought he was actually just silently lecturing her on flowers when he'd knock on the window. After all, the tulips were still coming from the place that overwaters them. But those times that he would get her attention always earned a large smile from her, and she'd try to make the bouquet a little bit better. His question, though, took her by surprise. She hadn't even gotten flowers on stage.] No one has. [Her head shook dismissively, and she gave him a smile like it wasn't anything important.]
Wouldn't you need to have your mind on things in order to figure stuff out? [But he denied her request for weird and she playfully sighed at his stern look.] Oh fine. If I must. You're going to wind up telling me just to get me off of your case. [As for her time on stage?] It was... hectic. We performed Grease. I was Sandy. [Because of course she was Sandy.] If you're crafty, you can probably find some of the performances on youtube.
[Regardless of how the singing made him vacate the premises, it wasn't going to stop her. It was one of the greatest loves of her life. She smirked back at his grin.] Maybe you shouldn't be on your patio before work then. [Another laugh and she added far too knowingly:] Do you understand how important color is for Roland? If he cooled it with the wings, what would he have to live for?
[Dawn put the phone on silent and slid it back into her pocket, letting his question hang in the air for a moment with a small grin on her lips. It was so nice to see him smile.] I didn't want to annoy you. [A well-poised answer that held all the undercurrent of 'yes' without her needing to say it.] It would have annoyed you.
