Re: quicklog: leo's apartment leo/dawn
[Leo gave her a baffled grin. The last time someone asked him if he liked making a tv show, he was eight and was doing and interview for the Travel channel. Since then, people asked things like "Did you ever get kidnapped" and "Are you actually an orphan". He finished breakfast and reached for her plate once she was done eating.] I- [Leo took her plate over to the kitchen and put everything in the sink. He came back over to the living room and sat next to her. He sighed, crossed his arms tight over his chest and turned to look at her.] I loved it. I hate that I loved it. It's my least favorite thing about myself. It was great. I wanted to one day make a show where I worked behind the scenes or did something more serious like kick the ghost hunters in the balls.
[Joking was a good way for him to avoid the truth and somehow making her laugh was a lot better than making her frustrated over tulips.] I'll make sure you have the worst day ever. [His threats were sounding less and less severe.]
The sunflowers have to go. [He sliced his finger across his throat.] You could bribe me with pumpkin pie. I'm sure it's barely above average, but it'll be just enough to let you go free.
[Leo shook his head.] I don't know if I'd want to go back. I haven't since I was a kid and it'd just remind me of everything. The good news is the show brought them all kinds of business. People don't care if I debunk things. They make room for doubt in their minds. [He shrugged.] Who's to say I haven't been cursed? You're my neighbor, aren't you? That seems tricky enough to be a witch's doing.
