quicklog: carnival eddie/sasha
[Truth be told, Eddie didn't know what the fuck he was doing. The last time he tried to quick-fix a family together, it blew up in his face. But, that was with a girl he didn't really know anymore and a family that was already dust. This was Sasha. She had seen him at his absolute worst and she knew exactly what kind of asshole he could be. Eddie had tried to be there for her, but they both knew his own shit tended to get in the way. And, while she had managed to cut him deeper than anyone had in a long time, that pain faded as he parked the car near the entrance of his old carnival. There were few people in his life that had earned unconditional love and to him that meant his pain didn't matter. It couldn't.
Eddie was dressed in his all black suit with a bright green tie that could be seen across the field. He strode towards the entrance, scanning the area for her. If she was waiting for him, the riddled man went straight to her and pulled her into a hug before saying anything.
Most people who were pissed at each other needed physical space, but people from Jersey didn't behave that way. The distance was only going to make it worse, any idiot could see that.]
